"P has a very unique voice, I often wondered where he developed the technique..."

Well I read somewhere that in the past he took lessons with Seth Riggs. Here is what Wikipedia says:

"Seth Riggs is an American vocal coach and founder of a technique known as "Speech Level Singing". He is considered by some to be the most successful voice teacher in the world.[1]. Rigg's claim to fame is that he is voice teacher to the stars. Among his pupils are over 120 Grammy award winners including Natalie Cole, Janet Jackson, Sinéad O'Connor, Barbra Streisand, Luther Vandross, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson."

That still doesn't throw some light on my question - what style exactly he worked on most, but anyway...

P has a very unique voice, I often wondered where he developed the technique coz when he was in earlier bands he never sang, as it used to hurt his throat. His voice when he does interviews is unreal, even as a man I find it incredibly sexy, it is the type of voice, that if you have it, you know you can get anything you want. Then again, he does have just have about everything he wants cool
