She Spoke 2 Me... I love the mellow feeling this song rides on. The lyrics have a soft sex appeal.
At almost 4 minutes the song moves a little faster..very exciting. To mention, that if "The Rainbow Children," had a sequel story...This song would be a cut of my choice...as well as "emale." This is just an idea, and not meant to put Prince under any pressure. I say..let Him write what He writes..really.. The Hornz and the Drumz at 6 minutes are great as the song returns 2 it's pattern, highlighted with a cute tiny bridge at 7 minutes. Has Prince ever performed 'She Spoke..." live? like many songs since 1996, prince has un4tunatley turned a blind ear 2 great material like this and others 2 per4m it live. instead focusing on the 80's 
this song would have fit perfectly during the ONA shows man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 | |
