I guess this isn't too big of a deal because Paisley Park has been closed for years because (to the outside public) 1) It's in Minnesota 2) It's in the middle of no where 3) There is nothing to do here. I remember a long time ago when it first closed shop, one of the complaints was if Prince wanted to use a specific studio who ever was in there had to leave. It didn't matter who it was or what they were paying.I recall his advisor's complaining how he was running it because it was losing money. I have an episode of "An current Affair" from back in the day on tape and it said it was losings 1000's by the week. In the same episode Prince was getting into his blue Benz and Kim B. was in the passenger seat and the reported asked "Is it true you are doing an album with Kim?" His reply was "Uhhh nope." You couldn't see him because it was night time. He was leaving Bunkers Bar. Paisley Park just re-opened in 2003 or 2004 to the public. He will still have concerts (if he comes back) and do his normal stuff. What I am getting from the information... And then he said "Prince is having hip surgery too you know..." to which I responded that I had been hearing back and forth on whether this was true or a rumor. He said "Oh, it's true for sure." as if he knew it for a fact. He seemed to be "in the loop" as it were but i didn't want to be rude and push any further with my questioning. So in the end I don't know how reliable a source he is. Interesting though....
Everyone seems to "know" what Prince is doing. I am not doubting you (and thank you for your post) but I am doubting this dude who was talking about it. Why would a guy in Minnesota...at the library know about some seceret stuff Prince is doing? Just wondering.... Prime aka The Kid
