But I think I'd compliment him on "Raspberry Beret" because it sounds like another hit

I would say that "Paisley Park," is enlightening.
"Around the World in a Day," is gypsy like.
"Rasberry Beret" is very sexy. and I wish that I was the girl in the revolving door.

Nice thread, Whit. Actually "Paisley Park" was recorded in April of 84. Pop Life was cut in Feb 84. So hell, say u were able to talk to P BEFORE the Purple Rain album was even released in June and he slipped u some headphones and said "Check this out."

Well I think they are both Great tracks, Raspeberry Beret has hit written all over it besides from being a very cool catchy pop song anyways and Around the World in a Day just pulls me I Love it. Sounds like the start of another incredible album man
