Is prince beatboxing at the end of Crystal Ball's "Crucial" (about 3:30 in). It sounds as if it may be layered in along with the real drums and programmed drums...It's not like full out Biz mark beatboxin, just as if he did one or two drum kicks with his mouth..

Just had a listen at 3:30 min and I didn't hear any beat boxin'. Not to me anyways.

I Heard Prince beatbox on a few other tracks though.

I've seen and heard him beat box live with Dougie Fresh in Vegas and as they went back and forth it was mos def an experience I will never forget. Simply awesome.

i think know what you're talking about. it sounds like him. he goes like pa-pa-pa-pa , but it could be just the music.

slightly off topic but i think the bass in "Partyman" is him and not a bass.
Everytime i hear it i think "he just recorded his voice instead of playing a bass. I should record a whole cd with just 'me' strumming my air guitar and recording my voice instead...and i'd make millions...or maybe i won't".

In Controversy he's making a an "oomph" sound with every other snare drum hit pretty much throughout the entire song. It's easier to hear it if your listening with headphones.

my mate gave me the radio 1 live show from 1993 and its got a really sick part where P is beatboxing into songs and it's so cool!! i wish he'd do it now.

In 2002 One Nite Alone Tour he beatboxed during his key set. That was sick.
Loved it.
