I have a friend... Who likes rock music and funky guitar solos. Just like conventional alt-rock music (Smashing Pumpkins), I'm not the most exposed Prince fan out there, to be honest I'm still building my collection and only have 6 albums + UTCM, PR and GB. So that's why I'm asking for some help!
What songs can I recommend to him that might help convert him to a Prince fan? | |

I thought Prince was related to the smashing pumkins musically through wendy and lisa. Right?
Like the members of SP are related to wendy and or lisa....and likley why there music sounds alot like recordings with prince and wendy and lisa.  [Edited 2/16/08 20:08pm] | |

get the dvd, im watchin it right now to solace the fact i cant get the new vid from bet.com or indeed watch old vids on vh1.com excellent guitar on the dvd!
