A Love Song's longevity. As a background understanding...the song, "Always and Forever" by Heatwave.
Some songs will outlive their author's 4 centuries, maybe 4ever...I believe that Prince has so many love songs that can stand through all time, however maybe only a few will exist a thousand years from now.... Besides, "Purple Rain." Which Prince song's will survive on the musical shelf of airplay? "I wanna be your lover," and "Adore," 4 sure...I believe Prince's remakes of "Betch By Golly, wow" and "La La La La means I love u." will resurface down the road a hundred years. All of Prince's music will survive...yet...Like Elvis' Jailhouse Rock...there will be a select ten or so....Which songs will they be? I am sure there are a couple that have not yet been written.
