Prince- the dancer Seeing his dedication to his music was one thing...
but Prince sold me on his footwork. Years ago, I saw him do "I would die 4 U/Baby I'm a Star" in Purple Rain. And I swear that I had never seen anybody move like that. It was enough to make me unable to forget what I saw that day. The first music video I picked out from a set when I found a site full of them last year, was Little Red Corvette. That might have brought those old memories back, or it might have made some new ones. His footwork during Dez's guitar solo floored me. And just now, I was just watching a bunch of videos. "Kiss" gave me the initiative to do this thread. He's an amazing dancer and really knows how to make a girl  ...just seeing the way he dances with the girl in that video. The whole time, I felt my temperature rising and I'm still 
Kind of a pity that Prince doesn't dance quite as much as he used to, but gotta hand it to him. The man could dance like nobody's business   had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone | |

Yeah, he was a cool dancer. It was spontaneous, funky and natural. And very sexy, he knows what girls want to see. 
It didn't have that stiff, canned, appearance that alot of dancers have. Edit: Ooh, Kiss is my favorite video. He's got a nice thing going in that one in particular. [Edited 2/9/08 22:08pm] | |

It's a shame that we have to hunt down all of his videos...
but the ONE video that shows off his skills as a dancer is the THIEVES IN THE TEMPLE extended mix... This man has rhythm! Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

Prince's dance style is certainly unique. The fact that he's able to dance on heels is even more amazing. I don't know too many men who could pull that off. love the one who is Love! | |
