Does Prince workout with weights?

I know that Prince is of small stature compared to the average male, but I have noticed in several videos, that he is toned as a motherfucker, and his arms are phenomenal on video...I am a persoanl trainer, and have always been impressed by his toned physique...He has a definite look of someone who is in impeccable shape, and I am convinced that he lifts weights...Can anybody fill me in on this??

This always seems like the oddest question to me, perhaps I'm just weird... I dunno, he's always had a great body. He's gotta be doing something, right? shrug

Anyway, there's a weight bench in his office @ Paisley (at least as of that BBC footage, I believe it was shot around GB time)...
heart prince I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it prince heart

Yes, it is an unusual question, but certainly nothing stranger than some of the things I've seen on here...I'm just always interested in how people keep themselves in great shape physically, especially people who are in good shape at an age that most people consider to be "over the hill"...Prince, at 44, always inspires me with his energy onstage as an entertainer...Mick Jagger(54) makes me realise that the stigma attached to age is purely one of fear in other people, and if people everywhere practiced this way of living, their lifestyles would improve immensely...I am currntly 33, and in better shaoe than i was at 20, so there's someting to be said for hitting the gym!

It must have something to do with his diet as well. Being Vegan i'm not sure how u would eat 2 build mussle but i'm sure it's easy to stay lean.

there is a whole weight room at Paisley. When you enter Paisley, go up the stairs to the right. it is the first door at the top of the stairs.

they have a Nautalis machine, a flat bench, and a rack of free weights, and a tredmill (if I remember correctly). You can see the room in the 3 Chains Of Gold video collection...when they are interviewing Kirk Johnson. He is bench pressing and talking about Mayte.

I don't belive so...I haven't noticed any "build up", only that Prince looks even thinner and in need of more bulk. Ironically he mentioned his "lack of booty" at the Celebration.

In older photos, he appears as though he might have. His thighs and arms were larger - not to mention, I don't think anyone gets a washboard stomach without working on one.

But these days? He has so much clothing on, who is to know? lol

He was definitely working out in the late 80's, but from what I've seen in recent years he's not doing that anymore. It doesn't take much to get a washboard stomach. Lack of body fat is pretty much all it takes.

You can most certainly build muscle on a vegan diet. I do not believe in excessive protein intake for the average weight trainer. People NOT on steroids require much less protein intake than others. Too much protein is hard on the kidneys, and if anyone has ever tried the Atkins diet, which is mostly protein, you will be so dehydrated with the first few days that you will piss out every fluid in your body. You need carbohydrates, and your body will get all the protein it needs from the foods you eat, as long as you are getting grains, veges, fruit, seeds etc. BLAH BLAH BLAH...And yes, it is easier to get lean on a vegan diet, because generally vegans have a lower caloric intake. With leanness comes loss of muscle though. It is impossible to stay really lean, and build muscle at the same time.

I'm late 30s and I'm in way better shape than I was in my 20s. I eat better and I exercise moderately. When I was in my 20s I thought at 40 I'd be planning my retirement mainly because when I was in my teens and my 20s people did typically follow the stereotypes regarding age. I still note some people my age making reference to things they feel they need to stop because they're too "old," not because they can't keep up but because of peer pressure and they let themselves go and gain a lot weight, stop doing things they enjoy, etc. I now have friends who are in their 50s and 60s who hang out with me and they're very youthful, not chasing youth, but just constant and being who they are. I have a feeling Prince isn't gonna change much. While he may relax in some ways, he'll probably always look the way he does now simply because he wouldn't allow himself to get out of shape.

I was up close and his Booty looked Great. His upper thighs looked Firm. You could tell he had his body tight. He is not Thinner now. Built up more. Even Heavier Bulkier now. Check him out in the suits. Bigger than the Past. He looks Great though. Always looks Great.

That's fantastic LQ...Good for you!...I love healthy attitudes toward life like that. The coolest thing about getting older is that you get smarter, and more confident, and you can use those tools to stay healthy your entire life. A positive mindframe is also of major importance to a happy life...Even in adversity, and the way things are in the world, I always try to be kind to people, and laugh a whole lot too. The past does not equal the future, and for those people who have had struggles in life, be it family issues, hanging with the wrong kind of people etc., you can always rely on yourself to get out of it, change, and grow...Keeping yourself physically healthy also affects your mind, far more than most realise...So thumbs up, and keep happy! smile

Why? It's ok if he opens up while alone and wipes the drool off before Mani arrives... or he could click the X, and pretend like his drool is for her... lol

Rudolph's is the Best Rib place in my Opinion in the World. They also have Barbequed Shrimp. Their food is Amazing. The owner was so nice to me when I was there a long time ago and said they even ship Worldwide UPS. I would look them up if I were you. When I come down again I will be eating there again. I remember going to 2 of them . Liked the older one Better, more Homey. Delicious! Yes, it would do Prince some good seeing some Old Friends and eating at Rudolphs again. Most Definately. Myself,I dig on Juniors or Silvias or B.Smiths. I happen to Love Ribs and just Can't give them up. Marie Callenders Pies are Killer also. We seriously Pigged out years ago buying every single pie there. Always loved Minneapple thought it Sublime. Loon Cafe,Figlio, Minneapolis Diner,Nankins. We went everywhere at the time. Great store for New-age stuff also. Born to shop and yes that's the Place for that. Can live in that Mall alone. Dig it ! Listen,Prince is into Physical Fitness. It was a priority when he was staying in N.Y. to go to the Gym or have Weights. He wouldn't stop now.
