When Prince opened the Grammys with Beyonce, it was one of the highest rated grammy shows in recent years. The Time opened this years show and it was the third lowest rated grammy show ever.
I love The Time and Morris Day, but they know they can't do it like Prince. And I wish some of you could get over the ageing thing. Prince is gonna be 50 in 4 months. I'd rather see that incredible life written in every bag and wrinkle on his face, than have it be sliced and diced and pulled and poked by a surgeon's knife and whatever other tools they use.

YES ...it got serious airplay on WBLS it's probably on right now ...usually it would play after 7 pm not day play which is why I don't get he make a average song for "the average listener" abd gets a Grammy.I guess people wouldn't get what the music which he REALLY should recive an award for. just my humble opinion

Prince won a Grammy for "Future Baby Mama?" Really?
Can we just scrawl "Album Of The Year -- Sign O' The Times" on that chumpy and right the worst Grammy injustice of my generation? Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

I believe if he would have toured in the US and did some promotion here the album would have sold better and done better at the Grammy's. Here was this gem and he didn't do anything to show it off.... Think about this...if there was Purple Rain in 1984 and then Sign 'O the times in 1987...nothing in between. YES - we would have missed out on a lot (for the fans) but he would have just dominated. Think how MJ and Madonna do...every few years. Prime aka The Kid

YES - we would have missed out on a lot (for the fans) but he would have just dominated. Think how MJ and Madonna do...every few years. Yeah, I was kidding. Slightly. I still remember being mad behind that when it happened. I was at the tail end of my high school "Prince mania" years. Excellent points. He produced so many LP "sides" of music between PR and SOTT that he had saturated the market. Each successive album from PR to SOTT was so conceptually different the public had a hard time keeping track of just who Prince was. But he was using his success to experiment, rather than being trapped by it, like MJ and to a lesser extent Madonna were. I too was severely frustrated I didn't get to see him on tour in the US during SOTT. The flick was the only chance I had. But I agree. Had he toured with SOTT, he would have gotten raves and more momentum for the Grammy. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

It's the first song since Musicology that I've heard on the radio so I am happy for that much from FBM. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince.
