Is There Always a Grammy Watch? Is it like this every year when the Grammy's come around that everyone is on alert? I noticed this in the Non-Prince Music section too.

The last 4 years especially. Basically due 2 Prince showing up. Now, this year is like a tripple whammy for us...Prince, Janet and The Time all on one show. Is this 1986 again? **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

You mean since his performance with Beyonce on the Grammys? Well, I guess since it is the 50th anniversary as well, and all the old time/big names come out, that such a buzz is being created.

Me and you think alike sexxydancer. I only watched that Grammys w/ Beyonce because of Prince, I don't even recall watching the rest of the Grammys either.

No. I mean in 1986, Janet, Prince, Jam and Lewis, etc. were all HUGE. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

In my house we usually have to set up some kind of regular grammy watch.
Cuz, if we don't keep a constant eye on her, she's likely to go wandering off into traffic or something.

Usually I don't care about the Grammys but I must admit that I've been looking forward to this since I first heard Tina Turner was performing!

I keep thinking about the Grammy's tonight, reckon P's getting ready now? I won't see it until tomorrow evening though (UK ) Can't wait to read all your posts after the event, I hope they don't edit any of him out by tomorrow!
Do they normally have tables at the Grammy's, like dinner and stuff, or is it just like a theatre set up?

Chris Rock was hosting it, and all I remember was that the White Stripes per4med & Missy Elliot rapped after Madonna, Britney & Christina A. shared a kiss. Well no, actually I did watch the '05 Grammys but all I remember was singers like Green Day & Usher per4ming so it kinda sucked. The Janis Joplin tribute was good, tho. And wasn't Prince there? I vaguely remember hearing about the Madonna/Britney kiss... I think the last time I watched the Grammy's was the Prince/Beyonce performance. And I didn't even watch the whole thing (I think... ). But I've never anticipated any Grammy show before (except the Prince performance that one time), just this year since joining this site and with everyone getting all hyped up and all.
