Rumors about a new album usually started spreading around months after the release of his latest album. It's been months since 'Planet Earth's release, so where are the rumors? Is he recording? Is he taking a break? I know Prince has steared away from releasing an album every year since the year 2000, but '3121' (2006) and 'Planet Earth' (2007) seemed to suggest he might be heading back that road. At least I hope so. I wouldn't say quantity outweighs quality of course, but hey: I want a new Prince record..!! Damn..!

There's just rumours. Prince said after the London shows he was off for a while to study the bible. He's been spotted all over the world, pimping in Russia, praying in NYC and partying in London, if I remember all the earleir threads.

I heard that the new album is still in rehab.
It tried applying for a visa for it's release, but the powers that be said "No."
I say
let's exercise our patience so that the new album may draw upon our diligence for it's own strength to get better.

at this time,
we all can do our bit in supporting the new album by just being patient, & therefore, strong.
