I like Black Sweat; it has a great beat reminiscent of Bob George. My only problem is that the chorus always kinda fades away just as it sounds like it's about to really get going.

yeah thats my only complaint...it stops abruptly and gets back on a beat

I wouldn't be surprised if there was an extended version of Black Sweat sitting in that vault of his. You know that song should be much longer than it is, especially the way it ends. Once again, shame on Prince for doing crap like that.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I didn't like this song until DJ Rashida played it at Club Mansion when Tamar came down here, and when I heard it live I began to love it.

exactly, it's all about the bangin-ass Linn Drums. Not another soul on earth freaks those drums the way Prince can.

I like this song but the high tone in it really makes me crazy. I feel like a dog who hears a dog whistle. I cannot put the song louder because of that tone.

I was so happy to hear at the O2 that it didn't have the high tone in it, great song.

Yeah my friends get that, I can't get enough of it! biggrin

OMG, a positive thread on the org. I hadn't logged in quite awhile because of all the hate and this is the nicest thread outside of the picture threads. I sure that someone will post soon and destroy the good vibe so I will thank Prince for this funky jam. I love that song!!!!

lol because I thought the same thing when I logged in. I stay away for the same reason, but I am trying to come back to add more positivity. As I am reading all the good posts, I am just waiting for the haters to hijack the thread.

Besides the high tone Black sweat is nice, which cannot be said of this song. shake annoying whistle AND very dreary song.
