Is it a coincidence that this Janet story about how bad ass Prince and The Time were back in the day comes out the week before The Time plays it's first gig together in nearly 20 years? I think not. I bet Prince, Morris, Jesse, Jimmy got something BIG planned this year. | |

Actually, I thought it was kinda odd when Prince did it on Reflection from Musicology.  well the line is "i was thinking about my mother" 
but as 4 janet, yeah she can thank the memebers of the time 4 hooking her career and in return she thanks them by not letting them not b on her next project ..oh well now her ass is on the curb in my book  man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 | |

is her mother still alive? it seems like something someone would say when talking about a deceased member of their family. of maybe i'm thinking that because of the film "Psycho" Like a Gb Major with a E in the bass | |

Okay, I'ma leave the Psycho reference alone, it's just TOO easy.  However, I've seen interviews where Janet AND Michael referred to her as Mother and called her Mother with her there. It is kinda odd, though. | |

 I was just thinking the same thing, I have some family relations who refer to their mothers as mother and it is odd, albeit, she did not say "the mother"
