Prince's Down-Low Listen Posted Friday | Feb. 1, 2008 9:46 PM by Matt Donnelly The elusive artist Prince, about the size of a cell phone, snuck into BlackBerry’s Los Angeles bash last night for the launch of their new Pearl 8130. The singer slipped past photogs, reporters and guests not to rub elbows or score a new mobile in peace, but to catch a performance by up-and-coming vocalist Alice Smith. DJ Rashida, who has long been Prince’s go-to spinner for private parties and concerts, turned the tiny legend onto Alice, apparently enough to inspire him to hear her pipes in person. The Purple One stayed for one song and disappeared, but the party went strong with glamour girls like Nicolette Sheridan and Rosario Dawson, as well as lothario Jeremy Piven getting a run for his money from younger hunks like Chris Evans and Eric Balfour. BlackBerry held a sister party just two days ago in NYC, attended by gadget-loving gals like new auntie Paris Hilton, Rumer Willis, Sophia Bush and Natasha Beddingfield. Others to show up and wave in LA were Vivica A. Fox, Kimberly Stewart, Bradley Cooper and celeb stylist Anya Sarre with hubby Tim. PageSix.com Stuck like glue! | |
