Live and Let Live

Whatever happened to that saying?

It seems like more often lately, people have been saying that they want Prince to do things. Whether its to write music the way they want him to write it, go on tour, or just do things in general just because things have been kinda quiet lately.

I mean, if you were Prince, wouldn't you get tired of people always asking you to do things, or more specifically to do things their way?

I probably think this way because of my "newbie status" (although I'm done with thinking of myself as one), but at this point, I see that Prince has always done things his way and in the end, it works best for him. He got where he is today because he always went with his instincts.

I knew from the start that he always been his own person, and what anyone has to say about him won't change whatever path he's on in this life. I accepted that and just let him live his own life, rather than asking him to do things a certain way.

I say "Let the man write his music in peace".

And who knows? He may come out with something this year that will make all this speculation worth the wait. But until then, live & let live cool

One of the conclusions I have come to here recently is, alot of those who are overly critical of P and his music, are in fact the real fanatics, the so called fams here show their love, the so called hardcore old and new skool, offer debate and something called constructive criticism and sometimes abit of humourous banter which is very welcomed and gives all a laugh.

Then comes the 80´s fanatic, in their purple bib and start belting out their sermons from the highchair, like someone deranged, who spent the last 20 yrs in the captivity of the luggage compartment of the Purple Rain tour bus.

If Prince wishes never to release an album again, so be it. I think most of us, would be very happy to call it a day, with only 1% of what he has accomplished and add to that, there is enough material out there to keep us going for a very long time.

Let the Hunt begin..... wink
If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

Very true.
Something I really appreciate and strive at in real life, same in here.
He is smart enough to ignore this sort of written "demands".
