Happy 10th Birthday, Crystal Ball! Send your birthday wishes and/or praises/complaints about the album here! With all the regular talk of Crystal Ball II and Roadhouse Garden, I've always thought there was a curious lack of Lovesexy-era outtakes on CB. Was he saving these for a separate release, or did he just not think they were stong enough? In the liner notes for Acknowledge Me, it's stated that Boni Boyer's opening scream is sampled from "a dope track called 'The Line', 2 b released at a later date". Whether this was anything more than just talk, who knows...
wish U were here baby, on me--

One of my fav albums, especially Days of Wild. However, I only have the 4 disc version, as I bought it in a record store. Is the casing in the pics, the shipped version, if so it explains why the booklet I have is round If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

Thanks for stealing my thread, word-for-word, from HQ, without any credit... Isn't that considered plagiarism? Nice pictures, though...

It was ok, but it went from 1986 to 1993...it was horribly off. Although this album inducted me to knowing twhat Good Love was. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

I remember hearing good love the first time on some pirate station, I knew it was prince but i was clueless as to what song it was, later i found it on the Bright Lights, Big City album, PS not sure if that is the title of the soundtrack If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

I actually consider CB to be one of princes best releases since SOTT, on a good stereo the music is wild, I remember when i first got it, I was managing a pub, and when the mood was right, i used play a few tracks from it, although no one had a clue what it was, it got them grooving If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

Did you ever notice the prices this set is fetching on amazon?
http://www.amazon.com/Cry...01&sr=1-36 Note the very last one, this CD dealer wants over a grand for a used copy . . . is there something I am missing with my copy? I have been picking them up at Newbury Comics for years now for around $6.00.

I'm not sure if you are questioning if "The Line" actually exsists - or if it will get an official release? Well I don't now about a release, but I can confirm for you that the track most definitely does exsist!!! Life's a Parade! LoveLife, LoveSexy!
