Talking about how incredible and special some girl is and then telling her that's all she seems to be good for is being a Future Baby Mama. I imagine some woman right now is trying her darndest to be just that right now. The lyrics just make me shake my head. Or maybe it's just me, I dunno.

As for the purple rain question, I remember Prince saying he edited the lyrics to some Purple Rain songs to make it not so obvious they were religious in nature. Isn't the colour purple linked in some way to the resurrection of Christ? If not, forgive my ignorance, but possibly the words purple rain somehow allude to this.
