I like it- It's not something to crank up and ride around in your car to, but I think it's relaxing sometimes. I play it in my classroom when the kids are taking a test or something quiet. Probably a "For Collectors Only" situation for most Prince fans. But if you like experimental "classical" Purple Music, it's worth a listen or two.
Jazzier Prince stuff, like NEWS, Madhouse 8 and 16, Eric Leeds projects, C-Note and Xpectations are far more fulfilling for me. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
