I've had that on more than a few occasions. I also get the odd surprised comment from passengers in my car when he sings that Sinead O Conner song. I swear, I was ready to kill someone at the O2 on 12th September if I was asked that. RIP

I think it did one place better than Prince did in the UK charts. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Hey I bet that was cool, I've visited the place but never seen a concert there, I know Elton has played there but don't know of anybody else. A Prince gig at Ephesus would be awsome!

There are hundreds of versions of Prince's songs covered by other artists. Some are fairly naff, others just about passable. Try starting with Purple Rain album and work through each of his other albums.. Try and find the most bizarre cover. Ther's a very Jazzy Sexy MF, no lyrics though. PeACe & B WiLd

such an awful cover. one of the art of noise's worst. I don't think it was an awful cover. I think it fit's with Tom Jones style well...esp the zipper part. I think it's certianly one of his bigger songs. Though I have to agree, it is one of AON's worst. Christian Zombie Vampires

From Wikipedia: "In 1967 he performed for the first time in Las Vegas, at the Flamingo. In 1968, starting at New York's Copacabana night club, women would swoon and scream, and some would throw their knickers on stage. Soon after, he began to play Las Vegas and began recording less, choosing to concentrate on his lucrative club performances. At Caesar's Palace his shows were traditionally a knicker-hurling frenzy of raw sexual tension and good-time entertainment. There, they started throwing hotel room keys." He was also knighted, by Queen Elizabeth..... Hey! Prince will be 70 one of these days. And the youth will wonder what was so appealing about him..... [Edited 1/27/08 15:07pm] Tom is a GREAT performer and singer. Women STILL check out him and he STILL sells out shows. And YES underwear and panties STILL get tossed. It's part of the act.
