A cover version of Musicology

My gorgeous girlfriend just called me up while she was out shopping because they were playing Musicology but it wasn't Prince singing it. I've had a look but can't find anything about anyone doing a cover of it, so does anyone know anything about it?

There's a musicology karoake version available at the iTunes online store. It has backing vocals, not sure if it has lead vocals too. Also, the iTunes store has other songs called 'Musicology', but they are different songs (but feature the phrase 'Musicology'). Not sure if your gf is fully familiar with Prince's Musicology, or if she caught the chorus of a different song using the words musicology.

I can assure you that she is fully familiar, (we met through the org biggrin ).

I could hear it playing when she called me up and it was definitely Musicology. Unfortunately I couldn't hear the singer properly. She assured me that he wasn't doing a very good version lol. She is considering going back to the shop tomorrow to ask them what they were playing.

'The Space Cowboy', probably.

Hard to say though!
