Who's gonna finally do a decent cover of a Prince song? Has there even been an ok cover? The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

There have been a few Prince covers that I dug
1)Chaka Khan- I Feel 4 U 2)D'angelo- She's Always in My Hair 3)Alicia Keys- How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore? I know she isn't exactly loved around here. But Alicia's version changed the way Prince performs the song. Before he used to just sing it alone at the piano. Now, he does it with the entire band. 4)George Clinton & The P-Funk All-Stars- Erotic City JERKIN' EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!!! | |

 Sinead's version of "Nothing Compares 2 U" is the best cover of a Prince song. Chaka's "I Feel 4 U" is another. Alicia's "How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore" is a decent cover. She updated it.  | |

Jade did a live cover of Do Me Baby a few years back. It's on some BET compilation album you can find on iTunes. I really like it.
Doesn't compare to the original of course but it's still pretty good. | |

Tearing up the Pope picture was not right. I still like her cover of Prince's song. She has a great voice despite her weirdness. | |
