Why doesn't Prince like to share? I can't figure it out. Any theories? I mean...even down to trying to block folks from downloading his pics on is site? Sure, folks can still do screenshots - but the block on the page sorta reminds you that he doesn't give out anything for free...not even simple memories for folks of his shows... 
So he blocks that, doesn't allow pics/recorders at concerts, and doesn't release them officially (99% of the time) of his shows either...Why?  | |

He likes to be in control and choose what people will get. He wants to be the one who gives people his choice of downloads. Seeing people download pictures of him and lyrics and music without the ability to control it is probably driving him crazy. _______________________________

See now, Prince confuses the hell outta me! All of those who were at Wembley Stadium 10 years ago on July 31st will remember him saying "Next time bring a tape recorder... when it's over press save" 2 the fans.
So low and behold, 2 years later and WB aren't letting our man release TGE so I go 2 the opening date of the European tour, tape recorder proudly in hand safe in the knowledge that Prince wants me 2 recored the show... but NO! The beefy bouncer is like "We have specific instructions from Prince's management that no recording equipment is to be brought in here" Make up Ur mind Prince!! 
And another thing... U don't have 2 be beautiful 2 be my girl? HOW MANY ugly ex girlfriends do U have running around with buckteeth yelling "I can't believe I fucked Prince!" STOP LYING PRINCE!! You guys wanna check out someone who likes to share, there's this artist I'm getting into right now who's giving his music away free via his website. He's also going on tour pretty soon and playing piano bars just so that his fans could meet and see him close up. I don't know why Prince even takes the time and energy to worry about downloading pictures or bootlegs. I can understand why he wouldn't want recorders at his shows.
