didn't prince contribute something on common's "electric circus" album? i seem to remember that he did some coda for one of the tracks,
or was it just something that sounded a lot like prince and the org ran with it for a while? and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

i got that album and apparently he played guitar or something on a track called star 69. haven't listened to it enough or in a while to really contribute any more. used to love me some common though , still one of my favorite rappers. wish they had done a duet or something along those lines, at least p doing the hook or something. For all time I am with you, you are with me.

Questlove did the coda on the track Star *69. Prince did record keys and guitar but in the final mix of the song, his guitar portions were buried so far in the mix that they really weren't significant enough to give him credit for, IMO. But that Linn Drum piece tagged at the end was all Questlove and James Poyser.

actually, iirc, he's not mentioned in the linernotes either, so perhaps his contribution was dropped altogether? and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

The keybass was J Dilla. The guitar is pretty much inaudible. That's why I found it funny that they would even credit him with guitar since it's not heard.
