The Vault vs Rave ok guys i hav these 2 cds on there way here i ordered them both from amazon.so firstly i cant say which is better obviously cuz i havent heard either of them.so which 1 do u prefer also can u plz giv me a few songs of each that u think are the best on each collection thanks - respect  Everybody's looking 4 the ladder

The album "RAVE un2 the JOy fantastic" is a huge one for me. i especially LOVE the DVD. And Prince Always KNOWS how to dress, those close fitting shiny pants especially. i LOVE " Strange but true"; "The sun, the moon and stars"; "wherever U go whatever U do", and :"The greatest romance ever sold" i see alot of deep and great poetry in these songs and the rest as well. But then again, that is true for all of Prince's Songs, some are just more poetic than than the others. As for "The Vault", "Extraordinary" is my favorite and then there is "5 Women+ "The Rest Of My Life", "She Spoke 2 Me", "My Little Pill", "Old Friends for Sale". The whole album speaks to me. i LOVE it. It is soo Hard for me to choose  . | |

Why not listen to them and judge for yourself?  We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

i have just got these two albums aswell which is freaky!! been lissoing to rave for a while and i really like it, i have got rave into, i like most of the songs on there so i think you will once you get into it. Only just started lissoing to the vault today!! sounds good but a lot different from rave, rave is more like 'RnB'Eve the rapper singer woman, sings on it with prince, n even prince does some rapping! in the song (the sun the moon and stars) which is ace!! where the vault seems really funky n jazzy!! | |

2 favorite tracks off Rave are I Love U But I Don't Trust U Anymore & Wherever U Go, Whatever U Do (and "I need to get out of this city, I need to get you outta my head" from Man O War is one of my all-time favorite Prince moments) - but overall I prefer the Vault album. | |

My choice is The Vault. When The Lights Go Down is one of my all time favorite songs. Its so damn cool. But I like the whole CD...it sends off a very cool vibe imo. I like every song except My Little Pill, which is so short that it really doesn't count.
Rave is ok. I friggin love the title track, Greatest Romance, Strange But True, and Pretty Man. The problem I have with Rave is that cover of Everyday is a Winding Road...I can't STAND that track. Hot With U is pretty lame as well. | |
