prince always experimented with sound textures on his guitar.
but guitar effects he used had nice warm natural sound.

but if you watch rave dvd and if you listen to recordings from that era 1999-2000 you cab find almoust unberable to sit try prince's solos.
his guitar sounded very very syntetic.

but he returned to his natural sounds (guitar effects ) in 2001.

so what guitar effects did he use to change his sound to very cheap syntetic like sound?

I don't know what effects he used but I tend to agree, I don't think his tone is as perfect as it was. I wish he'd lay off the whammy bar as well. I blame the symbol shaped guitars, to me they sound plastic.

prince is great with whammy bar,it added new colours to his sound.his sound these days great it was just during rave era that i didnt like
