I agree with this post! My purple promo copy with poster: 
also spawned the purple 45 and 12" and 12" promo for "Purple rain": 
and the purple 45 for "When doves cry": 
which are far superior to the black vinyl versions of each.It's so obvious that this is the right choice

After looking through my records I realized that although Purple Rain on purple vinyl spawned purple singles, Purple Rain did give us this picture disc of "Purple Rain":
Now I'm back to not knowing which Purple Rain is better! Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for. |
