Snoop Dogg & Dre's Influence on Prince I can think of 3 obvious examples straight away....
'18 & Over' - very Snoop Dogg style vocall/rap The Segues on Exodus Album - sound very like 'Nothin' But A G Thang' by Dr. Dre The piercing keyboard on 'Black Sweat' - Snoop's 'Gin & Juice' etc. Obviously, working with Bootsy & George Clinton and his video for 'Sensual Seduction', Snoop is a funky man.... so funky that Prince has been influenced. I think his was writen around 1994...mabye 1993
right around the time Snoops - Doggystyle (1993)  hit it big with all the weed songs

(De La Soul also sampled the grandma voice on "Me Myself & I") ALTHOUGH Prince does rap like Ice-T to me  I think Prince used Ice's style as a staple especially for Sexy MF.[Edited 1/19/08 18:30pm] Straight Jacket Funk Affair
