I cannot believe that Extra Loveable and Possessed remain unreleased!. All hard core purple headz know these tracks well , and most with any sense will see that P has NO need to do a Crystal Ball 2, 3 or 4 for years until ticket sales and cd sales dry up. Then of course these will see the light of day!. Anyways can you imagine how great these would have been on an album, i guess the 1999 follow up Album?. | |

Well one song mentions the threat of 'rape' the other 'satanic lust' so I doubt they have much chance of seeing the legal light of day in their current forms.

but there are other songs with rape in them which are released so why should extraloveable be any different... nick cave and the bad seeds released 2 amazing songs on these topics - do you love me? is a truly dark masterpiece that is about rape, sung from the rapists point of view and loverman is a song about demonic lust also.
true that extraloveable does catch the listener off guard with it being a sweet sounding pop song; but hey, music is best in my view when it catches you off guard. Wouldn't you love to love me? | |

incidently i was listening 2 both of these songs last night and i agree they should b released and still could b released alebit with careful editing man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 | |

Extra Loveable, musically, wouldn't have fit on the 1999 album but it SHOULD have been a b-side. Definately. P had no intention of releasing that song. Not just because of the rape line cuz P had rape/violent theme tracks on the 1999 album already. But the "Dez, don't u like my band?" bit was obviously P fucking with that song. "Possessed" originally was slated to be on the Purple Rain album. It's in the background music in the film so it made it that far. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz.
