Does anybody else own a vinyl copy of an album called Chocolate Box??

i used to back in the day.tossed it out years ago.

I see this one all the time just sittin there at a local mom n pop---seems like the songs have been released with better quality on other boots.

well it was scratched, sounded rubbish compared to newly improved Bootlegs, and had crappy packaging.It wasn't like i threw out a puppy or something.

I have it. I started collecting vinyl before I did CDs.

All I remember was that there were a bunch of typos on the sleeve "Starfish E Coffee" and "Joy In Rempatition"

At the time, i was new to the world of bootlegs and i didn't realize those were typos.

I had "The Royal Jewels" vinyl back in the day and there were several mistitled songs:

Muting
Export Lover
Souly-A-Colia
Let Me Feel You Up
Starfish E Coffee
Pretty Face
I Can't Stop
We Can Fall

For some reason it used to be common to mislabel songs on bootlegs.

I used to have it, back in the days of vinyl.

side 1:
Movie Star
A Place In Heaven
Starfish & Coffee
The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker
Joy In Repetition

side 2:
Data Bank
Girl O' My Dreams
Can't Stop This Feeling I Got
We Can Funk

And yeah, it had a load of typos & mistakes.
(Like Starfish E Coffee, Joy And Rempatition, & Data Bank was listed as Pretty Face)
It was good at the time, but compared to modern boots it's pretty poor quality.

This was the first Prince bootleg album I got.
Back in '89 I was in a record shop in
boston & I'll never forget seeing that
little label on the front cover that
said "out-takes"!!! It was a LONG ride
back to the house before I could get
my ears on my first record of Prince
out takes!! Yeah, the quality sucked,
but I LOVED that record and played it
over & over

I have it. It was the first boot that I bought. I was so excited to get some unreleased Prince stuff. Then I put the record on... worst sound quality this side of "Big Tall Wall".
