I think it's because everything else about him has overshadowed his guitar playing in the general public's eyes. The image, the videos etc. He's not helping by not making his music available either, when people do see things like the George Harrison tribute etc. it blows their minds

Well, I'm very pleased to say that since the time I started this thread, Prince has gone from 4.41 to 4.81! This means that we are more than half-way there to getting Prince on the Top 20, where he might get the recognition that he deserves. Keep it up!

Frank Zappa is at number 20 (which I do think he deserves) with 5.14, and Nick Zinner from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs is at 19 with 5.16
The link doesn't take you to Prince, it automatically gives him a 10 rating from you. If you looked to the side, you'll see a little "You Just Rated" with a picture of Prince under it.

Hey! I love The Jam! Paul actually does have some pretty damn good riffs. His guitar playing was/is extremely limited because they were only a three piece, he had to play rhythm and lead and riff around his chords. He's better than a good amount of the people on that list ::cough cough:: Joe Strummer ::cough cough:: As I said before, I'm a die hard Clash fan, but Joe was a horrible guitarist.
