Not sure about Vanity, but I do know that Tamar stated in most interviews that they wrote the album together. She said she usually wrote the lyrics and P wrote the music. She said she also would hum melodies and P would play them.

They rocked it on GMA.Wish that album had been released.

all the songs on "Milk and Honey" were co-written by Prince and Tamar, and the majority of "Beautiful, Loved and Blessed" was written by Tamar herself.

I mean if Joss Stone and Leela James, Corrine Bailey Rae them can be half sucessful she could have been..however for the main black girl in the R&B market there wasnt any ear candy there I guess....that was the only thing that was lacking...she wanted more than just a video on vh1 morning. True the album was never officially released, it was pressed and everything, but then withdrawn. (Think The Black Album.) However some pressed copies 'escaped' in Japan and were recently sold on ebay for $900-$1000. Evidently the tracks are circulating, presumably from one of these copies.
