Prince is a hypocrite.. he's one of those musicians who always advocated that freedom of speech is important in music making. he said something about being able to express oneself truely or something.as most of you know, many of his lyrics are filled w/ very controversial subjects.
also he's the one who separated from warner brothers b/c warner bro wouldn't give him a total independence or something..you know the story. he wanted all the freedom and independence when it comes to his own music. now, that same guy who always advocated a freedom of speech is trying to shut down a small fan website like this b/c he doesn't like what he sees... he seriously needs to spend more time on making some quality music instead of worrying about what people write about him.. | |

Everyone should protect and defend themselves or they are hurting themselves and neglecting or hurting oneself in that way also results in negative Karma. And, and i mean a big AND, a person can only help and protect another if he protects himself first, and usually that means that a person is also protecting and helping others at the same time that he is defending himself, just by the Virtue of protecting self!!!!! And Prince Always makes Quality Music!!!! | |

... but about the use of his copyrighted material what copyrighted material are you talking? nobody is exchanging his mp3 files here... it's funny that he's the one benefited from freedom of speech. but he threatened to shut down a small website like this b/c obviously he's bothered by what people are writing. and he's doing it with legal system. i wonder how he would feel if gov't tries to censor him. if everyone is a prince hardcore lover here, i seriously doubt he would do anything to shut it down. the man is a total hypocrite. prince needs to spend some time making some quality music that can actually be a hit instead of worrying about a fan website this does. | |
