Prince's Lyrics Prince, for at least 20 years has written some of the most in depth lyrics I have ever heard.
Help me out...what other artist can you name that has writen ( and correct me if i'm wrong) what seems to be at least 4-500songs.....WITH MEANING.... none of that one hit wonder stuff..... I can think of Ashford and Simpson, Marvin Gaye.....etc. god is love THE B EST BE YOURSELF AS LONG AS YOUR SELF ISNT A DYCK[/r]

lol. seriously, there are many artists who write such type of songs (though prince is one of the best), just have to look for what your tastes are. the cure, color theory, nick cave and the bad seeds (nick cave is a fantastic poet, i highly advise listening to him for deep lyrics) the guillemots; are a few who spring to mind.
