If I Was The Man In Your Life ending

who in here hates that it just stops and goes in 2 jazz fusion?

Now I love jazz and everything, however it just throws the song off balance....it's like... I'm jammin..then all of a sudden its random experimental and I have to stop dancin.

I wouldve like an ending with him screamin and slammin on the drums smile

A musician may feel differently, but I really like it because of the unique ending....So many songs end predictably...."If eye was the Man in your life" slides nicely into "On the couch."
"The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

No, I love that little segue! Though I would agree that the song in general is a little too short - it's by far my favorite off Musicology.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who hates that ending. It doesn't fit the song at all. If it was another kind of ending where it was just as danceable if not even moreso, then I'd sing a different tune on that one. I would have loved it if the music from the song would have kept on going without him singing. Anything except that jazz ending.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
