Musicology.

I like all of the cd packaging and inserts from Prince's cd's...Although, "Musicology" is a very nice booklet....
The Photograph's of the band are very nice and clean...Everybody looks great.
The scattered anatomical drawings add a nice touch...

And I thought it was funny, that under the credits for, "Dear Mr. Man." it says...
shaker: Sheila E. I want that job! I might even be able to be better at it than Her. Just kiddin' Sheila.

Anyway, "Musicology," is my favorite song from the cd....because, the song itself is about studying music....I think the song is great, it plants a seed of thought. I am surprised that it isn't a song repeated on the radio....

What is your favorite song from the cd, and why?
"The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

I like alot of the songs off this album, but since i saw the cinnamon girl video, it has probably become my fav

Why? The song sounded like a simple pop song till he put that video to it, it confused and still confuses most people, just like TRC has people shouting that Prince is anti semitic.
If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

"True to his status as the last enigma in music, Prince crashed into London this week in a ball of confusion" The Times 2014

i adore the whole album. his voice amazing!
my fave song is 'a million days'. it's such a powerful song, evoking the pain & panic of seperation. it comes from the heart & soul, & tht guitar sounds tortured...i feel so bad 4 him sad
i'd 4give him & run straight back, but i'd string it out a bit just 2 hear him pleading with such passion. love

Musicology is my favourite song. I like the packaging, the anatomical diagrams are great, going with the 'school is in session, time to learn the science of musicology' theme. I don't like the back cover (with the track listing) of the case so much though, it kinda reminds me of a cheap bootleg...maybe it's the font, I dunno. The inside of the case and the booklet are lovely though, very nice!
Sounds like a real man to me...mind if I turn on the radio?

Illusion, Coma, Pimp & Circumstance.... you just have to crank it right up and sing as loud as you can! I love the humour in it - "she knew which fork to use but she couldn't dance" it just makes me grin! And the funky sound and the 'story' is a nice change, feels to me like a rare acknowledgement that money can't buy you everything, and that sometimes it can be the woman not the man paying the bills!

I love the title track too and the video that came with the CD. When i have this on in the car I'm grooving away to myself at traffic lights, I get some funny looks!!
You might not like the taste but I'm still gonna stick your face in this FUNK

I love A Million Days.

But Reflection's the one that will probably best stand the test of time, IMHO.

worst song on the album 4 me is between what u want me 2 do and call my name
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

I really like this album too, however I find it different to other Prince albums as it is consistently good, with nothing amazing but also nothing bad!!!

What I'm trying to say is that what it is missing, is that big stand out track that is head and shoulders above the rest like you get on all the other albums.

This one seems to play it just a little bit too safe.

I'm not complaining, just not feeling the WOW!!!! Musicology is definately a cool track though that worked even better live at the O2 shows.
