What's your favorite Prince video? I always loved Kissed, The whole version of Cream, Alphabet street, Get off and 7.

interesting fact: The reason why kiss is interesting, because I heard that Prince didn't think the dancer in the video was beautiful enough, so he made her put on that sheer black scarf you see her dancing in and At the end He gave the legendary black scarf to the director of the video as a gift.

shit. I am the only person out there who thinks Prince's video's fall waaay short of his music?

I have a certain fondness for some of them, there's ome nice performance videos, but objectively I would say his videos are almost always below average.

Musically, Prince is a unique talent, an innovator, a musical genius.
On Video - average at best.

Surely I can't be alone in thinking this?

(PS my favourite is Mountains)

I know it's very simple, but I love watching Little Red Corvette. Simple and well-done. Great dance moves, stage lighting scene, etc. Despite all the options for car/bedroom scenes, this still did the trick in capturing a mood and Prince at his best - on stage doing his thang.
When Doves Cry, Batdance come to mind, too.
