Really, it's only the accepted fashion. In some cultures it may be considered beautiful. And who knows, Vogue may feature hairy legs on a cover and it will become trend. I hope not, but it could happen.

I really wonder how come that we find it disgusting to see women with hair and don't mind the men with hair. It's a serious question .

Women with hair under their armpits or hair where-ever look sloppy and not hygienic to me (e.g. Julia Roberts). But it's normal for men.
Wasn't it Michael Jackson who has clean armpits? A man has to have hair.

I really decend from the cavemen/homo sapiens so I know it's a time consuming and painfull job to remain hairless, however, I don't know any better.
I'd rather be found dead than with hair everywhere. The last month of my pregnancy was sooooo relaxing (not), I shaved everyday, everywhere with that skippyball in between but if my water wanted to break any moment, I was fresh and clean

But it's like Meow85 said, in winter you don't have to shave everyday (my legs would probably look like a butchered piece of steak) but in the summer or at least with some short T-shirt and a skirt a woman has to shave and if possible every day.

When I was younger I once laid in bed with a girlfriend ( I stayed over at her place after a night of clubhoppin' but she only had a small bed) and I really thought she had put a cactus in bed, I didn't shut one eye!

My own stubbles cause irritation to myself so my poor hubby deserves a medal

Anyone ever thought of getting in an accident or whatever and having to lay for a long time in hospital? Maybe in coma? Who will shave you?????
