proberly been discused b4 but what are the words on the back of the album from, it starts of with a bit from when doves cry and then goes into something i dont quiet recongise, proberly me just being thick.....

can any1 shed some light?

I guess it´s just some romantic, poetic stuff, like an adlib in written form or something, the most poetic part being : " There´s this purple suspicion that lurks in the anals of my mind that...." blabla, that part is priceless ! Someone MUST have noticed this before it went to print, right ? A big project like that...and the proof reading / spell checking department was on strike .

Classic stuff...I used to read that over and over when I was 12.

Prince also used to rant the same gibberish during part of the Purple Rain tour concerts. Around about the same time he had the conversation with God whilst taking a bath ... previewing the 'Temptation' coda speech.

I think they played that or something close to it during part of the Purple Rain concerts.
