Favorite CD maxi-single We've all got our favorite remixes / extended versions of songs, but what's your favorite CD maxi-single on the whole?
I've got two -- the Gett Off maxi single and the New Power Generation maxi-single. Even the Tony M disaster on there can't take away from "Get Off" and "Loveleft, Loveright." It's real real close between Gett Off and Space. . .yeah, too close, I can't decide. If I could only keep one, it'd probably be Space, but I would throw a fit about it.

By far...Gett Off
It's almost like the version on the album is an edited version and the extended version is the real thing. I love it. I also like all of the extended versions from Parade: Kiss, Anotherlover, and Mountains. By the way, who is the woman at the end of the Kiss extended version? Is it Wendy? I always loved that little dialogue. | |

Its gots to be Gett Off. Violet and Gangsta Glam are classic Pimp Shit!!! In second place I would have to vote for Partyman. I love the extended remix of Partyman. I can still satch a groove to that song even today. "Oh I just looove purple!!!"

I used to really dig the "Cream" Maxi.
There were some cool stuff on there like "Q in Doubt" and others. I would drive down to Miami with the windows down blasting that one. Don't think I've put in on since about 94 but it was very cool in it's day and I remember listening to it a lot. Get Off single was cool too. The tape I would play in my car had both maxie singles minus the radio and album versions. All Rights Reserved. |
