Well, as things are a bit slow..... (any excuse)

Prince was definitely pining for a lost love during the summer.... 'Love is a Losing Game', Shelby J singing 'Misty Blue', "Prince's favourite song".

"Why did you have to go and break little Prince's heart?" etc. etc.

So WHO is this lost love? Does he still love Mani Or is it someone else? Someone from further back?

I remember meeting a guy at the o2 before a concert and we had a short chat about Prince, he said something which i thought was abit unusual at the time, but he basically said that this was the happiest he had seen Prince in yrs and he reckoned Prince had gone thru some sort of depression. If you look back in particular to the late 90´s, particularily the Rave new years concert, it was quite obvious that he was unhappy about something. I reckon the whole Mayte split took alot out of him, but i guess these are things we will never know and to be fair it should probably be left that way.

I think you're right about the split with Mayte, but to me, he looked really depressed in some of the photos with Mani around 2004/2005, really not right somehow He does seems pretty content now, I think.

Maybe the other way round too, would you want to spend your life with someone who spends their whole life in a recording studio Must get a bit tired after a while, even if they are Prince

It is a very good question. The song "Love is a losing game" was very moving live, I don't know the other song. If he wants her back, I really hope they'll b happy together.

Naw, you know what, I wonder if that's why he was wearing his shades all the time, because he was crying for his lost love. I think he was still getting over his divorce, that can take a toll on a person.

prince surely found real love with his 1st wife. they were a stunning couple & seemed devoted, however it wasn't 2 b..i think he might regret losing her.

i do agree he looked especially vunerable after the breakup & feel 2nd time round was easily a rebound situation.
hope he finds some peace of mind on a spiritual level & can find perfect love again...it is his food afterall

i just wonder if he will settle 4 anyone over the age of 20..?!
i'd like 2 c him have child/ren, but he'll have 2 get a move on.
i guess if tht never happens, i imagine he's done his bit by certainly encouraging procreation.

well i know for a fact that a girl that nobody knows about broke his heart back in the 80's. From what she told me the look on his face was like she ripped his heart out of his chest... no joke.

I know one thing, about Prince for sure. Prince is preoccupied with a soul He has known for years. Much different tears, Prince sings....
