soul school i was watching a program on vhisoul called soul school.it was focusing on modern r&b goin back from 78 on to the present.they touched on mj(of course)whitney, new edition, teddy riley, new jack swing and hip hop ..pretty much all the major stars and trends of the past 30 years ..all except for 2 people(that i noticed).janet and our boy Prince.any of these programs never give him any credit for anything.which is odd because his sound REALLY is the sound of todays modern r&b.u can hear him in d'angelo.the neptunes, timbaland(seems like he had a lot of fans in va)outkast, alicia keys, lenny kravitz.justin..the list goes on and on.why dont these folks who produce these programs like him. | |

VH1 Soul always plays Prince. At one point they played alot of his videos one after the other, like it was Prince day or something. Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U. | |

----- VHI plays his videos but, this documentary skipped over his contributions to RNB. It was really strange. | |
