Well what has to be said that hasn't been said in those 30 years (year edit - I'm really bad in mathematics!) of him being known. I'll just post some pics razz

Pretty Mommy

Handsome Daddy

And cute Baby/child later to become a handsome MF

So many of his tastes strike me as childish too, his cooks have said he never wanted anything to eat other than stuff like mac and cheese, and he's always had stuff like doritos around and cap n' crunch is his favorite cereal. I mean how many grown folks still eat cap n' crunch regularly? He's just a big kid and that's one of his lovable traits.

ain't nuthing wrong with cap n crunch hmph!
man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

There was an article by one of his elementary school teacher that said Prince was quiet and very polite. He was of course very small with big beautiful eyes. Joni Mitchell said she remembers Prince coming to see her when he was 10 or so and the thing she remembers most was his eyes.

I think his getting kicked out of his dad's house was the lowest part of his childhood. I'm sure it was a turning point for him and I'm glad he had music as a comforting friend/outlet.

he was 15 .. and also on his childhood, (Langebleu, i know has some archive somewhere) .. Prince had a disability as a kid.. something about him having seizures up until he was 7 years old..(which may be the reason he is a genius in music) .. some children with disabilities end up being geniuses.. and Prince had absorbed talent by the time he was 8 and taught himself everything musically ..

Wow! I've never seen that pic of his Mum before, she was really attractive!

The last photo of P, he has exactly the same look on his face as when he was photographed at that Basketball game recently lol

I remember reading that interview when Prince said that. I felt kinda sorry for Prince.

Oh, Prince references that in the song, "Sacrifice of Victor", when he sings:

I was born on a blood stained table
Cord wrapped around my neck
Epilectic 'til the age of 7
I was sure heaven marked the deck

I always wondered if the part about him being epilectic was true. Guess it was.

When ever Prince sings of childhood, he sounds sad. Did you see hm do "motherless child"? That was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen him do.

some immature antics over the years, but do guys ever really grow up?
he strikes me someone who enjoys a bit of mischief making & gets pleasure out of the simplest/corniest humour. sort of stuff girls would roll their eyes at...
aawww! here is cute...

Deja vu. This has been discussed once. Just a coincidence.

Or maybe Prince has this picture framed at his office and he couldn't think of a songtitle for 3121 and while staring at this picture....
It's not even a strange explanation since we don't know what the songtitle stands for.

Yes, it seems like he, MJ, Madonna, anyone big that was born in the 50's is like this. Which means one thing to me - maybe it's a good thing that parental control started to loosen about this time. While it's wonderful that we get all this creative output from these people, it seems like Prince, MJ and Madonna can be like religious fanatics with getting there work out there - Madonna not so much on this one, possibly.

Which brings up another point - between Madonna, MJ and Prince, Madonna is definitely the most well-adjusted, or at least it appeared that way. She was raised by her father. Prince and MJ, however, seem to have been raised more by their mothers. I myself was also raised more by my mother than my father, and I have that same sense of driving ambition. This is overall a great thing in my mind, but it has its detrimental moments. But if I learn the good stuff mostly from mom, I have to look at mom when it's detrimental. I'm not saying this is good, bad, or indifferent - it is what it is.

This therapy break brought to you by...the rolling blackouts positivity!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes

Just kidding, ya'll...I think...

Okay, with all the talk of male/female going on, I'll bring up something which I've always thought to be a key to his personality. He's like a big child in so many ways, this is a compliment. He is very in touch with the playful sense of wonder and joy.
