I've had a total of three Prince-related dreams.

In one, he was performing, in a small auditorium. Prince was dancing, among the crowd.

In another dream, I saw a slew of new Prince albums listed on a sheet in the music section of a recordstore.

In the dream that I had last night, I saw an image of Common, the rapper, but I heard new Prince music being sung by Prince.

It's not a song or a bootleg that I've ever heard, previously. The song was, in the funk/soul vein.

Has that ever happened to anyone else?

i can't tell u how many dreams i've had where i heard a new Prince song being played on the radio on listening 2 him live in concert. each time it had a distinctive P sound and i always remember listening 2 them just being blown away thinking that they were some of the best P song's i've ever heard...and then i wake up, and i totally 4get how the songs sound.

A couple times, but they're just the "regular" song dreams I have only in disguise, I guess.

He sings me a beautiful melody, in every dream, of patience rewarded as we come together after a long anticipated wait.

I've had dreams that a new song was out and/or a new cd was being released, but no, I've never actually heard the song in my dream.

Occasionallu Prince will pop-up in a dream...He's just there.

Over the many years of being a fan, I've had dreams about shows, songs and meetings to even finding and buying rare Prince stuff in shops and collectors fairs - most of which just don't actually exist! - and they have been very surreal!

As much as I remember alot visually, I can't remember the songs much, but they were definately there!!!

i always dream of buying a new album in the store, waking up sad because it was a dream.

I've had several dreams where I'm in a record store and I find all kinds of Prince albums that have never been released. They're filled with new songs and concert recordings.

And for some reason, I can never buy them.

I hear all sorts of new Prince songs in my dreams, a lot. Or I dream up videos to songs I've already heard. Or I dream concerts, or performances.

Drives me nuts! I can't get away from him, even in my dreams...

Ha ha.

It would be weird, if he ever made a song that sounded like something we heard, in our dreams.

In my opinion, that would be the ultimate expression of "God at work".

yes i have had all sorts of songs or in concert, even album cover designs. one time i had a dream he did a commercial 4 the crystal ball that's in SOTT the movie

yes....and couldn't remember the song of course

but i swore it was great and was going to record it myself or give it to him

In one dream I had, P complimented me on a necklace that I was wearing, then sang me a song...I don't know what the song was though

I have one where I find 4 fully realized, marketed albums that I've never heard of before in a record store but only have money to buy 2 (ouch) so I have to figure out just from the cover art and track listing which I'm going to buy. Delightful and painful dream at the same time.

i dreamt about his nxt album cover artwork. white with golden swirl pattern. teeny tiny pfu thumbprint at centre, & crucially funk written there somewhere

I once dreamed that Prince did a documentary with Spike Lee. It was great.

It's funny u should ask that because i actually have had many Prince dreams over the years, either dreams in which i'd see him in concert or dreams in which i buy a new Prince release in a record shop and listen 2 it. One recurring dream at one time was that i found out in a record store than Prince had released 3 or 4 new maxis with 2 new songs on each of 'em, all from the High/Peace sessions and they're only released on vinyl with beautiful covers.
