23 and a fan for 18 years when I was 5. When Doves Cry made me a fan but I discovered Prince the year before seeing the Little Red Corvette Video.

I'm 37 and have been a fan since Dirty Mind. Great time to be in high school. Prince's Dirty Mind-Controversy-1999-Purple Rain, The Time, Andre Cymone, Jesse Johnson, Vanity 6, Appolonia 6, Dez Dickerson's "I Like The Beat" (anyone have this song? I need it bad.)... not to mention New Wave and the second go-round of punk rock. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
