Can anyone explain why? "Slow Love" gets no props, I personally think it is one of the best smoochie songs ever, then again, maybe thats why I am single  If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

It took me a long time to see how I felt about the track. I'm still kinda unsure about it myself.
Last time I listened to SOTT, it was growing on me... with that album, pretty everything that didnt hit at first was pretty much going on me at that point (Housequake, Play in the Sunshine, Adore are a few others... Beautiful Night, it comes and goes)... I guess I just find it kinda blah compared many of the SOTT tracks. Or maybe the vibe sounded a little too "old" for him... I really like the SOTT film version. It's in just the right spot in the set and it has a warmer vibe than on the album. The horns work well with this cut. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
