I thought Prince was going to retire from the music business in 2008?

I thought he was going to travel and study the bible.

Could the blank webpage be evidence of this?

Prince's essence is music. I don't think he knows how to stop making music or what he would do with himself if he did.

Trying to escape the Music industry is a definite probabilty, but not music full stop.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's working on a musical version of the bible to further spread the word to a wider demographic!

Either that or be prepared for "Prince the Evangelist! Jehovah Special accompanied by Electric Guitar!" Pay per view!

At the press conference in London when asked if he would be coming back to London, he said 'not for a while' and that he was going to take time off to travel and study the bible. Where did this 'retirement' thing come from?

I think that he is more likely to be studying the Bible, taking some rest and setting some goals for 2008.

I'd say he's resting, reflecting, and thinking about his next move....

i think they have a techno problem as why should a web site reflect him studying etc when he still has chelsearodgers up and live - so to speak

I really do not think Prince would ever stop making music, recording it etc.

Getting out of the music business I could see.

Then he is probably just on vacation, which is understandable.

My first thought was he shut his webpage down to give people a vacation for the "X-Mas break." That probably is the reason for the blank webpage.

Prince rarely has a plan that lasts more than a few weeks.
