another lame, pointless, tired thread from pp what's with p always getting tied up (automatic video) and talking about getting tied up and stuff in songs like sexy mf, for love (jill jones track featuring p) and some others i can't think of right now. does anyone think p is (or was) really this freaky? and s&m groove i forgot, which isn't much about sex and all but the title obviously ties in (pun intented). what do you guys think? It's true, the less I get the more I talk about it!
As for Prince singing about sex (and women) so much, I think it was because he was called Princess at school. That made him feel insecure about his sexuallity, so he wrote predominatley about sex with female's, to the point of obsession. This is just a theory BTW! | |

I'd be like "Seriously Luv, smoking or shagging? It's one or the other, make your choice!" I think Prince's early obsession with sex and women was a main driving force for Prince to write songs about all different types of sex. But just like everyone else, I'm sure he has unfulfilled fantasies that he finds easy to act out as a song and a video - but most of us know that fantasy and reality do not walk hand in hand. I would strongly doubt that he does allow himself to be tied up or bound in any way purely on the basis that he hates not being in control. He's only got to get caught out by messing with someone who turns Sadist or tormentor during the act and he is screwed! Literally!!! If he has and maybe does, then I will bet money that they are either the weakest knots humanly possible, or he has firm grip on a panic button that alerts a bodyguard straight to the room should it not go HIS way!!!
