In typical Prince fashion there's alot on the album that is perplexing or a bit over-the-top. The sound effects and constant tweaking that Prince did was not necessary. And some of the songs , despite all the 'glazing' that he did, feel a bit unfinished. But there are moments where I just loved it. It's probably the last interesting Prince album outside of The Rainbow Children, which is unlistenable to me Yes, pretty good mini review. I looove Dione [Edited 1/1/08 20:22pm]

There are a few really good tracks on this album, notably Don't play me, Dionne and Circle of amour!
But my favourite is Welcome to the Dawn, which is listed as an acoustic version. Is there another version or versions out there and has this ever been played live? 0+> Life's a Parade! LoveLife, LoveSexy!

Animal Kingdom makes me want to eat a steak - just for spite. Man that song always makes me want a Double Bacon Cheeseburger and I'm not joking. [Edited 1/3/08 10:54am] I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
