Hello (Edit) Despite that in 1985, I was always looking at each single release, I never though that Hello (Edit) was really different near the end. It was only on 1993, with the B-sides release (good idea but some title are missing...) that I discovered the version. Shame on me for Love Or Money: I would never believe that a long version existed till 2001...

I am not trying to be rude, but what is the point you are making? If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

I am not trying to be rude, but what is the point you are making? The end of the Hello (Edit) has nothing to do with the extended version. If it's still incomprehensible, just leave it....

Is the extended version of Hello called Hello (edit), I dont have the 12" here with me, so I cant clarify it, I have the hits/b-sides here, is there a difference between the two? If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

The version of Hello that was on the b-side of the Pop Life 7" single
(Raspberry Beret in the UK) had a verse at the end of it that is not on the extended version (labeled "Fresh Dance Mix") from the b-side of the 12" single. The 12" version cuts into a (very cool sounding) guitar lead and a different spoken vocal part instead of the last verse on the 7" single version. It is the short 7" single version that is on The Hits/B-Sides. ATWIAD was when I was really getting into Prince's music and I loved the 2 different versions of Hello when they came out! It seemed to me that the 7" version could be the original cut of the song and the 12" version has additional parts added to it to flesh it out into a longer jam. Those guitar parts are wicked, but don't they sound added on? Although, I may be (or just pain wrong) "Hyperactive when I was small, Hyperactive now I'm grown, Hyperactive 'till I'm dead and gone"
